Khumo Sebambo

KHUMO SEBAMBO is a freelance writer and curator based in Johannesburg. She holds an MA from the School of Literature, Language and Media, WITS University. Her writing has featured in several local publications such as ArtThrob, [in review], and Art Africa Magazine as well international publications such as The Art Momentum and Something We Africans Got.

 

She has curated several exhibitions such as YOUNG NOW (2016), a booth at FNB Joburg Art Fair (2017) and Conversations in Texture (2019); she was also the assistant curator for NOT A SINGLE STORY(2018), a collaborative exhibition between the NIROX Foundation and Wanås Konst, Sweden. In 2020 Khumo founded Gaze Art Advisory + Projects.
